Is playing an instrument a requirement to join the camp?
Absolutely not! While some students may play instruments, many others have little to no experience. Everyone is welcome, regardless of musical background.
Where are the summer camps held?
All summer camp activities take place at the IMBAS School of Music & Arts, located at Rua de Cima 53, Cobre, 2750-582 Cascais.
What is the schedule for IMBAS music summer camps?
The camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with scheduled breaks for lunch and a morning snack.
Is there a live performance included as part of the IMBAS camps?
Yes, there will be a live performance on the last day of the camp. Students will perform a variety of songs and dress up to make the event extra special!
Will instruments be provided by IMBAS, or should students bring their own?
We have several pianos, drum sets, and other percussion instruments available for use during the camp. However, students are welcome to bring their own guitar or other instruments if they prefer.
Will lunch be included, or should students bring their own meals?
Lunch is included for IMBAS members. Non-members can choose to purchase lunch for an additional €10 per day, or they are welcome to bring their own food.
